all time is all time. it doesn’t change. but we do. our bodies decay, our memories twist and warp and warble. what might have been becomes infinite. we are blessed with tools to catalog our lives - 0s and 1s, polyvinyl chloride, magnetic tape, paper and ink. but all artefacts we leave behind decay. computers crash, records warp, tapes disintegrate, paper decomposes. same as a body or a brain.

it’s on this canvas that body clock paints. these tracks are portraits etched into tape, left to wither and tangle. when they unravel, waned and blurry, a faint shadow remains. a new memory, painted from the muck of the last. collapsing in on themselves, over and over, these pseudomemories morph into cataclysmic epiphany.. then unfold into calmness.
